Asian Network for Quality(ANQ)
Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) consisting of all non-profit organizations in Asia that seek to improve quality of human life by contributing to the progress of science and technology; and to the development of industry through promotional activities for the research and development of philosophy, theory, methodology and application in the field of quality and quality management.
ANQ provides a platform and the opportunity for enhanced mutual sharing and learning of the knowledge and experiences obtained through the research and development and practices in quality performed by the member organizations. ANQ operates following the ANQ Way, which is a set of principles in the way of administrating ANQ.
International Convention on Quality Control Circles(ICQCC)
The proposition of International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) was made at the Korean Control Conference 1975 in Seoul. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference proposed that opportunity of exchanging idea and experience on QC Circle activities should be held periodically among the countries for further development of the activities. For this reason, in 1976 the first International Convention on Quality Control Circle took place in Seoul. As the International Convention progressed, the number of attending countries/ regions increased. On top of that, there were a lot of demands on changing the organizer every year in turn. Under these circumstances, in the ICQCC1986 Seoul, all the participating countries/regions came to an agreement that all of them were divided into two groups (Group A and Group B) geographically, and each Group would host the Convention alternately.
Global Excellence Council(GEC)
The Global Excellence Council (GEC) defines and promotes excellence to improve the competitiveness of organizations across the globe. The GEC helps organizations improve the effectiveness of excellence programs to benefit all stakeholders. The vision of GEC is to be recognized as the global leader in defining and promoting organizational excellence.
International Academy for Quality(IAQ)
International Academy for Quality (IAQ) is an independent, self-supported, non-profit, non-governmental organizations that is administered by a collegial assembly of individuals who have been elected by their peers from among the most respected, active, and experienced protagonists of quality in the world.
Quality Innovation Award(QIA)
The Quality Innovation Award is an annual, international competition that enables innovators to:
- get professional assessment for their innovation
- benchmark their innovation against others
- increase the visibility of their innovation
All together this helps to increase the competiveness of each participating country.
Asia Pacific Quality Organization(APQO)
The Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) is an autonomous, non-political, non-profit, scientific and technical organization domiciled in an Asia Pacific region fixed by the Core Council. Asia Pacific includes countries in Asia and those located near the Pacific Rim. It is more than thirty-years old non- profit umbrella organization that has brought together professional quality organizations that border on the Pacific Ocean. It includes organization representing countries like Australia,China, Fiji,India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, United States and Vietnam. It is incorporated and headquartered in New Zealand.
